    With a full schedule from Thursday, November 1 through Saturday, November 3, 2007 Carnegie Mellon's University Center will be transformed into a world of exploration with workshops, lectures, performances, food, and films. The International Festival planning committee, comprised of students, faculty, and staff has put together three days of captivating programs and events intended to bring to light the changing economies of the world.

    Keynote speaker: Charles Fishman, award-winning journalist and author of The Wal-Mart Effect
    FREE on Friday, Nov. 2 from 12:30-2pm w/ lunch in Rangos!

    Play: Anthropological Data.
    A satire about immigration in the US written and directed by Anya Martin, CMU Drama Alumna. FREE on Friday, Nov. 2nd from 7-8:30pm in McConomy Auditorium.

    Performance: Bhangra in the Burgh.
    Bhangra dance teams from around the nation competing for top prize. $10 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial and Museum on Saturday, November 3rd from 7-10pm. Visit www.bhangraintheburgh.com for more details!
